BLOCKX watercolours are ideal for all watercolour techniques. These artist quality paints are honey-based. Only the finest ingredients go into the manufacture of the colours in this BLOCKX Artists' Watercolour Mahogany box set. Pigments are handground slowly on stone mills, and are then blended with pure, light gum Arabic, honey made from selected flowers, and chemically pure glycerin and water.

An excellent item that I have wanted to purchase for some time and the special end of year 2020 discount offer was irresistible. I love Blockx watercolour paints because the colours are pure ground, fine and brilliant and the range does not have an element of “sameness” within its colour genres - e.g. colours within the blue range do not look similar, like they do in some brands. The missing colour from the list is Burnt Umber, which I received in my purchase (instead of Ivory Black) and also Yellow Ochre instead of Titanium White so I am very happy with this selection.
