Borciani e Bonazzi UNICO FIAMMATO 820 Round brushes have vegan-friendly synthetic hair that is extremely soft. Its microporous structure gives it high absorbency — it absorbs a lot of paint and thinner — with slow and gradual release.

You can use this brush for watercolours and gouache, some tempera paints and diluted acrylic and oil paints. The elasticity and softness of the hair allow for extremely precise definition and line work, without visible brush strokes. This makes this brush popular with illustrators and hyperrealistic painters who strive for a completely even result.

Borciani e Bonazzi — tradition and innovation since 1951!

The founders of the Italian family business Borciani e Bonazzi — B♦B for short — are brother Arturo and sister Wilma Bonazzi. They started their business in 1951 in a small artisan workshop in the Emilia region of Italy. The name came about when Wilma's husband, the young Borciani, joined the company.

Today, their brushes are still made one by one by hand, combining traditional techniques — learned from local craftsmen — with top-quality materials, such as innovative, high-end synthetic fibres.
