This CHARBONNEL LAMOUR STOP OUT ground is an acid resistant black asphaltum ground to cover parts of the metal to protect them from being etched in the acid bath. It is ideal for aquatint techniques.

CHARBONNEL LAMOUR STOP OUT ground is also suitable for electroplating. It should be applied to a cold plate that has been thoroughly degreased. The application is best done with a smooth brush.
