Clairefontaine Japanese SIMILI Printmaking paper is made of 100% pure cellulose. This product comes in 2 different colours: ivory and white. Thanks to its very fine, smooth surface, it is ideal for printing the finest details.

This Clairefontaine Japanese SIMILI Printmaking paper is surface and internally sized which makes it perfect for embossing (relief engraving, linocut). But other techniques such as screen printing and monotype are also excellent on this paper. The paper is acid free and pH neutral.

This printmaking paper is available in 130 g and 250 g - the 130 g is particularly suitable for techniques such as screen printing and monotype, the 250 g is also ideal for gravure printing. Clairefontaine Japanese SIMILI Printmaking paper is available in packs and rolls.

Very impressed. Linocut prints beautifully on this paper (using a hand lever press). I bought the 250g which is possibly a bit stiff for my purposes, so can't wait to try the 130g in the future.
