CHARVIN RECTIFIED TURPENTINE is a volatile oil, obtained by distillation of the resin from certain varieties of pine. It has a matt appearance, and is available in various bottle sizes. It helps speed up the drying time of oil paints.

This CHARVIN RECTIFIED TURPENTINE is used to thin the initial layers of paint during the underpainting stage, without altering them. It can also be used to thin mediums and varnishes, and for cleaning paintbrushes and other artistic equipment.
