Clairefontaine ETIVAL watercolour blocks contain cold pressed, natural white, 300 gsm paper. The paper is made from 100% pure cellulose and has almost identical qualities to paper made from 100% rag.

This specifically designed paper is ideal for all wet techniques. It does not yellow with age. The blocks are glued on all 4 sides.

Clairefontaine ETIVAL watercolour paper is traditionally made on a cylinder machine. It is a highly absorbent paper of exceptional quality. The paper is acid-free and neutrally sized with an alkaline reserve. Retouching is possible with this high-quality paper.
