The Clairefontaine Panoramic OIL Special Paper block contains 15 sheets of 240 gsm paper that has been specially treated so your paint cant bleed through. The paper has a medium fine linen texture.
The paper is treated directly in the pulp in order to achieve complete impermeability to oil and turpentine. This process makes paints adhere well to the paper giving excellent textured or layered effects when working fat over lean. The paper in the Clairefontaine Panoramic OIL Special Paper block is acid free (pH neutral) and readily withstands alterations.
