Clairefontaine OIL Special Paper is a 240 gsm paper that has been specially treated so that neither oil nor solvents penetrate. The paper has a medium fine linen texture.

The paper is treated directly in the pulp in order to achieve complete impermeability to oil and turpentine. Colours adhere but are not absorbed and dried colours can therefore be reworked. Excellent textured or layered effects can be achieved when working fat over lean. Clairefontaine OIL Special Paper is acid free (pH neutral) and readily withstands alterations.

This Clairefontaine OIL Special Paper is available in various formats. Packs contain 10 sheets and pads 12 sheets (see also item codes 18820 and 18818 for blocks).
