The da Vinci Flat Varnish & Priming Brushes Series 99 are blender brushes made from pure badger hair. They are perfect for blending and softening oil paint on the canvas, and for glazing techniques

The particularly characteristic colouring - a black-brown stripe - appears about 1 cm below the light tip. The slightly wavy, strong and hard-wearing badger hair offers good elasticity and a fine tip. Badger hair brushes are used as good blending brushes. They are suitable for varnishing, graining, priming or marbling as well as for many painting and imitation techniques.
