Not bad at all - Good product for this price.
Nice steal blades but provided a bit dull in the box and require sharpening which is not so difficult if you know how to sharpen chisels.
The technical mentioned in the other comment must be really bad.
I am using them for fine wood carving and lino.

I Feel that I must add my comments here as I feel the other review is rather unfair. Certainly this set will not work out of the box….without question! However, providing one knows about correct sharpening and honing methods (worth spending time on), these WILL work perfectly well. The blades ARE made from carbon steel and WILL take an edge. I have produced many lino and woodcuts with them which have sold well and continue to do so. I have just finished giving my daughter an 'express' relief printing course and she used them quite happily…..so I have given the set to her and will probably order another.
I have to admit that I have spent a long lifetime using tools and have a lot of experience in sharpening them, which is an art in itself. It is an art worth acquiring, since even if you choose the undoubtedly excellent Pfiell tools (which are beautifully made and cut really well straight from the box), you will eventually have to resharpen them or they will be no more effective than these are described as being by our other reviewer!

Poor blades - This set looks impressive, but it was a waste of money, cruel on the hands and barely making a cut in the Lino. It now resides in a charity shop. The blades are made from inferior steel so they won't sharpen. The technician in the art department could not get them to sharpen well.

Buy one Pfeil tool instead and at least be satisfied with the cutting result.
