Gerstaecker PLV 111 Pure Acrylic Powder is an acrylic binder in powder form for the simple and reliable production of your own acrylic colours based on pure acrylics with pigments.
In contrast to a ready-made acrylic binder, the term pure acrylic explicitly stands for a pure acrylic emulsion, i.e. a binder whose solids content consists exclusively of acrylic polymer. Colours made with pure acrylic powder have the best mechanical properties, are absolutely non-releasable and also exhibit exceptional light- and weather- fastness.
Processing variants of Gerstaecker PLV 111 Pure Acrylic Powder:
- For thinner paint, the water content can be increased up to 1½ times or the binder content reduced accordingly
- For thicker paint up to pastes, the use of the gelling agent powder is recommended
- For fillers, appropriate additives such as barite, quartz powder, mica, sand, glass beads etc. are mixed in
