Gerstaecker Studio Quality Artists' Pigments are intended primarily for artists painting large areas - for example theatre scenery - but are also perfect just for customising colours in your studio as they represent excellent value for money.

These Gerstaecker Studio Quality Artists' Pigments are extremely easy to use: the pigments can be incoporated into the binder of your choice (casein or solvent varnish) just with an electric whisk, extravagant rubbing is not necessary. The pigments are standardised according to shade and tinting strength. We offer all standard shades as well as many specialised ones, and all the pigments have above-average depth of colour.

The pigments are composed of base pigments, and all have at least level 7 of the 8-step Blue Wool scale for lightfastness, more than half of the pigments actually having the maximum 8. The lightfastness is determined according to very strict criteria. All pigments are resistant to solvents and (except Prussian Blue) are also alkali-resistant.

Gerstaecker Studio Quality Artists' Pigments are suitable for several applications including colouring classical solvent-based paints, but also for casting operations in epoxy, polyester, methacrylate or polyurethane resins.

Please Note: these pigments are based on weight and so some of the jars will not be completely filled.

Price per jar.

Please note: Due to the limited size of our London shop, not all items on the website are in stock in London. To avoid disappointment, we recommend contacting the shop to reserve or order the product.
