Gerstaecker Professional XL Linen Canvases are the perfect choice for the discerning artist. The 4 cm x 7 cm pinewood stretchers ensure maximum stability.

These Gerstaecker Professional XL Linen Canvases are covered with a high quality, acid-free pure linen. The linen is 435 gsm and has a beautiful uniform structure. The canvas is stapled on the back and is coated with 3 layers of a low absorbency universal primer. The linen is stretched drum tight over the frame but hardwood wedges are also included for subsequent tightening if necessary.

Depending on the size of the Gerstaecker Professional XL Linen Canvas there is a central support bar, a cross or a double cross for extra strength. These canvases look equally beautiful hung either with or without a frame and if hanging unframed the sides can be incorporated into your artwork.
