Gerstaecker Studio 2 Cotton Canvases are ideal for work in oil, acrylic and gouache. They are 100% cotton, 380 gsm with a fine even grain and no side tacking. They are coated with low absorbency universal primer.
The stretcher frames on Gerstaecker Studio 2 canvases are hand-made from top quality seasoned natural pine, and can be tensioned using the hardwood wedges which are included. Canvases 60 cm or larger are reinforced with a support bar, and 80 cm x 80 cm and above by a single cross. The profile is 20 mm x 40 mm.
