GIUSTO MANETTI Burnishers are wooden tools with polished agate stone tips designed for the polishing of gouache gilding..

When the gilt surface is dry and stabilised, polishing it with this stone and exerting the correct amount of pressure on the leaf obtains a polished final effect. The different shapes available are designed to be used on different geometric surfaces.

TIPS! For better use of these burnishers you are advised to heat the stone slightly by rubbing rapidly on a wool cloth prior to use. The agate stone tips are highly sensitive to scratching and damage and should be stored carefully.
