These Kirschen Curved Gouges Cut 8 are hand-forged tools designed for their ability to smoothly hollow out recesses, carve concaves, and clear material efficiently without the outer corners digging into the wood workpiece.

They are heavily favoured by professional sculptors and relief carvers for carving recesses and shaping raised surfaces.

The blades are hand-forged from high-quality special high carbon steel to a hardness of 61 Rockwell. They are ready-to-use with highly polished blades and octagonal hornbeam handles. "Cut 8" indicates a medium to deep curvature.

Kirschen Curved Gouges Cut 8 are 25 cm long and have a 12 cm blade.
