This Lascaux Gesso Black is a deep black acrylic primer with a good tooth. This concentrated gesso is thinnable with water and dries to a water-insoluble semi-absorbent matt finish.

A perfect black ground, it is matt and semi-absorbent, and gives opaque colours a particularly brilliant appearance. Use Lascaux Gesso Black on absorbent surfaces such as canvas, textiles, paper, cardboard, fabrics, fair-faced concrete, synthetics and wood.
