Léonard Black Ruby Chisel brushes series 30PS are made with advanced, slighty curved fibres for added resilience and accuracy. The tips are elastic and highly precise.

The Léonard Black Ruby Chisel brushes series 30PS have golden aluminium ferrules and short black handles, and are ideal for oil and acrylic work. Chisel brushes are perfect for details, corners and wide lines.

These hard-wearing brushes have very good dimensional stability and paint absorption capacity. They are available in various sizes.

Broken ferrule - The ferrule broke cleanly on this brush where it was crimped onto the handle. The handle is tapered to thinly where it is inserted into the ferrule, meaning the handle can lever inside the ferrule, causing the metal to break on the crimp.

Like the brush, so I fixed it by jamming blue-tac inside the ferrule and forcing the handle back in! Only a cheap brush, so not too concerned, but should have lasted longer.
