The MABEF Lyre Easel M11 is a classic A-frame easel made of solid oiled beech wood from controlled regions where immediate reforestation takes place. It is delivered as a flat-pack kit which is really easy to assemble.

The wood is extremely durable and, over time, becomes even more beautiful thanks to a special finish using natural oils that keep the raw material ‘alive’. This sturdy easel is 2-way adjustable, and has a storage shelf. It is suitable for indoor use, for working with oil and acrylic paints, and particularly for painting with pastels.

The adjustable working angle of the MABEF Lyre Easel M11 allows a forward tilt of 15° for pastel painting. The canvas holder, which is adjustable via an iron ratchet rail, ensures stability and a long service life. The upper canvas holders are secured in place with a wing nut and a metal washer. Sliding canvas supports provide a flat, stable painting surface.
