This MABEF M33 Studio Easel is made from the highest quality solid beech wood, from controlled regions where immediate reforestation takes place. The wood is extremely durable and, over time, becomes even more beautiful thanks to a special finishing treatment with natural oils that keep the raw material ‘alive’.

The easel is ideal for oil and watercolour painting. It can be converted into a drawing table and features a height-adjustable frame support with screws. The table’s angle can be adjusted continuously from horizontal to vertical. Four legs ensure stability.

Mabef M33 Studio Easel - There is a problem with this product. It's a "self assemble" which shouldn't really be difficult but the drawings supplied are obtuse and badly laid out. It was unclear how to begin and required making guesses as to which pieces were being referred to. The cross bars are not identified and as they are different sizes you have to stop and think very carefully which might be right for the intended position. I thought it was just simple laziness on behalf of the designer which resulted in a serious failure of communication about how to assemble this.

It took me nearly 2 hours of total concentration to complete the assembly, most of which was spent studying the diagrams trying to figure out what to do and what order to do it in.

The finished item is good.
