pébéo ORIGIN ACRYLICS Crackle Paste is a textured acrylic modelling paste that creates a characteristic crackle effect when dry. Its thick, paste-like consistency is ideal for sculptural applications, textured surfaces and decorative relief techniques.
The crackle effect develops during drying and can form fine or pronounced textures depending on the thickness of the layer. This pébéo ORIGIN ACRYLICS Crackle Paste can be used on its own or mixed with acrylic paints to create both natural and coloured crackle surfaces. It adheres to common painting surfaces such as canvas, wood or mixed media papers and is best applied with a palette knife, painting knife or squeegee. The water-based formula makes it easy to work with and is part of the environmentally optimised Origin series.
