pébéo ORIGIN ACRYLICS Natural Sand Mortar is a texturing acrylic medium with a fine to medium sand texture. The paste is suitable for creating tactile surfaces, textured backgrounds and relief-like effects.
When dry, the mortar forms a stable, durable surface that does not crack or flake and is suitable for a wide range of acrylic and mixed media applications.
This pébéo ORIGIN ACRYLICS Natural Sand Mortar can be used pure or mixed with acrylic paints, allowing for coloured structures and individual effects. It is best applied with a palette knife, painting knife or squeegee, but the paste can also be applied with a brush in thin layers. As part of the ecologically optimised Origin series, the sand mortar has a more sustainable formulation.
