R&F® HANDMADE PAINTS ENCAUSTIC GESSO is a white primer that is easy to spread. It is ideal for creating absorbent, paintable surfaces.
TThis R&F® Encaustic Gesso is the easiest and quickest way to prepare a white primer for encaustic painting. The primer differs from typical acrylic gessos in that it has a higher ratio of solids to binder. This makes the gesso very absorbent, but at the same time retains the adhesive properties of acrylic.
