SENNELIER Large Artists' Oil Pastels are extremely supple and creamy and are made from highly concentrated high quality pure mineral and organic pigments.

Thanks to the use of non drying, chemically stable acid free binders and acid free wax, SENNELIER Large Artists' Oil Pastels are non-oxidizing. All colours are fully lightfast.

Individual pastels measure 127 mm long x 20 mm in diameter.

I have just received the last three large Sennelier oil pastels and now have a complete set of these wonderful large oil pastels including the large black and white. It has taken me a long long time to gather these gorgeous oil pastels together and it has been worth it. The price of them meant that when I had the money by me I bought a few more at a time especially when there were postal deals [£19.95 minimum postage] and could buy three. I also have some doubles of those pastels I use a lot [i.e. the grey greens and blues etc]. The oil pastels are creamy with a range of useful colours and metallic tints. You can even mix/blend them together on the paper with your finger or rubber tipped tool or an agate burnisher with odourless spirit. They work well in an impressionist style though I am surprised with what light touches you can paint some details. For detail they can be used with good pointed brushes and one of the odourless solvents l. I am absolute delighted with them. I also have a range of the smaller Sennelier oil pastels but prefer the large ones for immediacy of colour and expression.
