Speedball® AKUA® Printing Plates are made of crystal clear, PETG plastic (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol, a thermoplastic polyester). Thanks to their thinness and flexibility, they are easier to work with than conventional Plexiglas plates.
The non-porous, soft and supple surface is easy to scratch for drypoint etching. Furthermore, it is also excellent for printing monotypes. Speedball® AKUA® Printing Plates can be used with all water- or oil-based inks.
