The Speedball® MID-FIRE™ GLAZE Sample Pack contains twelve x 118 ml glazes specially developed for mid-fire ceramic work. The glazes can be used individually or in combination to achieve versatile colour variations and effects.
These glazes produce decorative, marbled and reduction-like effects, and are ideal for handcrafted ceramics, vessels, decorative objects and tableware that is food safe when used correctly. They can be applied by pouring, brushing or dipping. After drying, the ceramics are fired at cone 5 to cone 6 and then cooled in a normal cooling cycle to ensure reproducible results.
The MID-FIRE™ series was developed in collaboration with ceramic artist Nancy Sowder and comprises a total of thirty colours. It offers reliable results and ensures a high-quality, durable surface and a secure seal for the clay.
All glazes are supplied in 100% recyclable containers. Made in the USA.
