The glaze was formulated in collaboration with ceramic artist Nancy Sowder. This liquid pottery glaze is highly popular for achieving specialised flowing and variegated aesthetic effects on stoneware. It delivers a creamy, warm appearance, enhancing the aesthetic of pottery while providing a durable, smooth finish that elevates any ceramic piece.
This mid-fire glaze is optimally designed for cone 5 to cone 6 oxidation firing. It is formulated to be lead-free and non-toxic, holding the AP (Approved Product) certification seal. The glaze is known for its ability to create subtle, flowing visual textures. It reacts dynamically when layered over or under other mid-fire glazes to promote movement and "fluxing" without excessive running.
