This Witgert Liqui-Fix Thinner is a specialised deflocculant (thinner) used in ceramics to re-liquefy thickening clay slip and dry casting compounds. It thins out slurry so it pours smoothly without having to add more water.
It restores dried, thick, or settled casting slip back into a smooth, pourable liquid state. Adding just a few drops thins down dense clay bodies to the ideal viscosity required for detailed mould casting without adding excess water. This Witgert Liqui-Fix Thinner also separates clustered clay particles to reduce the overall internal friction of the liquid mixture, improving its flow into complex plaster moulds.
