This ABIG Temperature Controller is used to regulate the power supply to various ovens, such as the ABIG 135 + 180 enamelling ovens.
A bi-metal switch turns the power supply on and off. By connecting this temperature controller upstream, you can easily achieve the desired, approximately constant, firing temperature.
The use of this temperature controller is highly recommended, as it allows you to make optimal use of the many possibilities offered by the kilns. Without a temperature controller, the heating is uncontrolled, up to the maximum temperature. You will then be unable to reach and maintain a specific temperature, which is essential for various applications, such as ceramic techniques and glass fusing. You run the risk of overheating your workpiece or oven.
In addition, the service life of the heating elements is significantly increased by using this temperature controller.
