These Gerstaecker Basic Cotton Canvases are made from 100% cotton. They are ideal for oil, acrylic and gouache painting.

Gerstaecker Basic Cotton Canvases are 300 gsm, medium grain and are double-primed with a universal primer. The canvas is stapled to the back of the frame, not the sides, so you can create the effect of depth by incorporating the sides into your painting should you so wish.

This pack of Gerstaecker Basic Canvases contains 3 canvases in the following French sizes: 41 cm x 33 cm, 46 cm x 38 cm, and 55 cm x 46 cm.

Budget Canvas - These canvas sets are perfect for using with children. As a participatory artist I work in schools, running projects with children. I found these canvases reasonably price and of a reasonable quality, good enough for children to experiment on. I wouldn't use them personally for my own work in my studio, as a professional artist, but they are perfect for school projects.

I will definitely use them again. Acceptable quality at an affordable price. Recommended for student/children's projects.
