Gerstaecker modelling paste light is a soft white, ready-to-use texture paste. It is ideal for relief-like structures and also slightly absorbent priming.

Bought for canvas priming... - I bought this to try and achieve a smoother finish on canvases for detail work. Though thick in the pot it spreads thinly and has a sticky quality. It dries to a satin sheen with a plasticky finish.
I won't be using it to prime and smooth my canvases.
