Each sheet in these Hahnemühle WATERCOLOUR BOOKs has three deckle edges, reminiscent of classic tear-off edges in both look and feel. That is why each sheet is unique and the sizes of each sheet differ slightly.
The sheets have the same fine-grained surface structure both front and back, and the same surface sizing, so you can use both sides. The paper is made of 100% cotton linters, without animal glue or other ingredients of animal origin. It is acid-free, buffered with calcium carbonate and resistant to ageing.
The paper is bound in a black, water-repellent hardcover, with an embossed Hanemühle logo - the famous rooster - on the back cover, and a handy closing elastic band.
