These Kirschen Chisels are premium firmer chisels hand-forged from high-carbon tool steel. Designed according to the DIN 5139 standard, these short lightweight chisels are engineered for precision woodworking and pairing tasks.

The chisels have flat hornbeam handles. The cutting edge has already been sharpened and honed.

Key features of Kirschen Chisels at a glance:

  • hand-forged high-carbon steel treated in a salt-immersion bath to achieve an exceptional hardness of ±61 HRC along the entire usable length of the blade.
  • unique, scratch-free polished surface that ensures a completely smooth cut and lets the blade dive easily into the wood.
  • sharpened at a 25° angle, making them highly optimised for working with soft to medium-hard woods.
  • flattened hornbeam wood handles fitted with a steel ferrule. The handles are scaled in size to match the respective blade widths seamlessly.
