MAIMERI | ACRILICO Extra Fluid medium 841 / 842 — for acrylic paint

MAIMERI ACRILICO Extra Fluid medium 841 / 842 is used in combination with acrylic paint. It reduces the viscosity of the paint, while the stability of the paint film remains intact. It is sold in 200 ml tubes.

This medium also slightly increases the gloss of your paint and makes your colours slightly more transparent. It is perfect for working with glaze layers and applying subtle nuances!

ACRILICO Extra Fluid medium is available in two variants:

➽ Get the best out of your paint!

If you dilute acrylic paint heavily with water alone, you may experience underbinding - there will be too little binder left in your paint. Your paint will lose its binding power and will no longer be able to form a nice paint film: the paint will be pulled apart, as it were. This also reduces qualities such as adhesive strength, lightfastness, gloss level and colour strength.

If you use a liquid acrylic medium to dilute your paint - or at least add it to the water you use to dilute your paint - the good properties of your paint will be retained when diluted and you will obtain beautiful, stable paint layers. And the transparent paint films that you can apply with acrylic paint mixed with a liquid medium simply cannot be achieved using water alone!
