MAIMERI ACRYLIC MODELLING Paste 658 is a very thick, white modelling paste consisting of marble powder in an acrylic polymer emulsion.

You can use it on its own or mixed with acrylic paint and some types of gouache or watercolour paint to add relief and texture. Once dry, you will have a porous, highly receptive surface that you can continue to work on with acrylic paint.

TIP! During drying, interesting cracks - also known as craquelure - may appear, especially when working in thicker layers. If you prefer to avoid this, mix this modelling paste with a medium or gel to prevent the cracks from forming.

This modelling paste can also be used for collage techniques, where you incorporate all kinds of materials into your work.
