Modern Options Rust Effect Primer

Modern Options Rust Effect Primer is used to achieve a true rust effect with the Modern Options Rust Effect. It is ideal for wood, plaster, ceramics and metal.

To apply Modern Options Rust Effect Primer: first thoroughly clean the surface to be painted and apply an undercoat with Primo Primer & Varnish (item code. 29064) for better adhesion of the rust effect primer. When applying to a metal surface, use the special Metal Cleaner (item code 29062) and Primo Special Primer for Metal (item code 29063) from Modern Options for cleaning and priming. When dry, apply 2-3 coats of Modern Options Rust Effect Primer and allow to dry for about 1 hour before applying the next coat.Once dry you can apply the Modern Options Rust Effect solution for a rust effect. The iron primer may also be used alone if a coarse grained iron surface is desired.
