Schmincke Citrus Turpentine 013 is a clear, water-based thinner for oil colours, oil paints and varnishes. It is obtained by steam distillation and is similar to turpentine oil in its dissolving and diluting behaviour.

Citrus turpentine is a turpentine substitute and dilutes oily varnishes, fatty oils, varnishes, glazes, resins etc. It is also suitable for cleaning tools, removing stains from waxed and oiled surfaces, and rubbing down resin-rich and exotic woods before priming
