Schmincke Wax Varnish 072 forms a protective matt wax coating that has a satin-matt gloss when rubbed. This varnish is ideal for oil paintings and can be applied after 8 to 12 months.

The wax is best applied thinly with the palm of your hand or a non-linting cloth.
