Schmincke Transparent Paint Medium 053 is a special oil painting medium for glaze painting based on natural binders. It is ideal for creating thin, transparent glazes and glaze effects.

The liquid glazing medium produces glazes with a high enamel-like lustre and significantly more luminosity and depth than can ever be achieved by diluting the colours with painting oil.
