For this Tri-Art™ Re-harvested Acrylic Medium walnut shell, Tri-Art™ uses recycled, finely ground walnut shells. This results in a grit consisting of opaque, cork-coloured grains that are more or less uniform in shape and size.
They are rubbed into the F.Q. Gloss Gel Medium, which, after drying, provides excellent adhesion and flexibility and a clear, glossy finish.
TIP! You can use this texture medium alone, or mixed with acrylic paint. You can also use it to create a base that you can paint over with acrylic paint after drying — this will give you unique textures and effects!
