Tri-Art™ | F.Q. Fibre Paste — for acrylics

Tri-Art™ F.Q. Fibre Paste is a fibrous texture medium based on a 100% pure acrylic polymer emulsion. F.Q. stands for Finest Quality — professional level!

This paste is both pasty, with a heavy body consistency, and light, almost airy. It can be easily applied with a palette knife or spatula. Due to its short rheology (it is a soft solid), peaks and sharp edges remain intact — and will not collapse or fade when drying. It is perfect for building substantial 3D textures.

Thie Tri-Art™ F.Q. Fibre Paste can be coloured with acrylic paint, giving it a chalky, pastel-like colour. Or you can paint with it, in which case the colour retains its full brightness and creates fascinating effects thanks to the built-up texture. The somewhat rougher, toothy finish makes dry brush techniques come into their own.

TIP! You can also use this medium to prepare surfaces for watercolour techniques and most dry media.
