Umber Terrazzo Clay is a coarse fireclay and is a first-class modelling clay for schools, therapy and ceramic studios. It is best quality and is suitable for many pottery techniques.

Technical data of the Umber Terrazzo Clay:

  • Firing temperature: 1000°C - 1280°C.
  • Firing colour: umber - khaki.
  • Fireclay: 40% with 0 - 2.0 mm grain size, black-white fireclay mix.
  • Sintering temperature:1280°C
  • Water absorption:1200°C - 4%, 1260°C - 3%.
  • Supplied in airtight, stable PE foil in 10kg blocks
