Dibond Aluminium Plates are 3mm thick, with a black polyethylene core. You can use them for acrylic painting, to make screen-prints, digital prints or even photo montages etc.

Each Dibond Aluminium Plate consists of 2 sheets of aluminium 0.3mm thick, one shiny white and one matt white, attached either side of the plastic. These Dibond Aluminium Plates are really light and offer a multitude of creative possibilities.

Dibond is a nice product, not cheap but generally worth it. However, mine arrived from Great Art ineffectively wrapped, with one corner crushed on all 6 sheets. This meant they had to be (expensively) recut, losing 10 mm off each. I wrote, sent photos, explained - but never received any kind of compensation.

These are really good for painting if you like super slick surfaces - works well with acrylic but you need to prime the surface with something like Goldens GAC200 or Lascauxs Fixtative spray for non porous surfaces. To float mount I glue some economy strecher bars on the back. Works well.
