The Léonard Outremer Chiqueteur brushes series 2362RD is ideal for faux marble techniques, to realistically imitate fine struvtures. The brushes have extra-soft petit gris synthetic fibres.
The round square-edged shape is perfect for dabbing, stippling and fine strokes, as is usual with marble imitations. The short varnishedl handles give good brush control
These brushes are also highly valued in classic gilding. As a so-called ‘appuyeux’, it is used for pressing gold leaf onto moistened surfaces as well as for gentle smoothing and structuring without damaging the delicate metal. Its exceptional elasticity and suppleness make it ideal for sweeping and smoothing gold leaf, silver leaf or hammered metal.
