The Léonard Outremer Mop brush series 2319RD is a special brush that is used for classic gilding. The soft petit gris synthetic fibres are double-bonded and held in place by a plastic quill.

Without a handle and with its round square-edged shape it is perfect as a so-called ‘appuyeux’ brush. It is used for pressing gold leaf onto moistened surfaces and for gentle smoothing and structuring without damaging the delicate metal. Thanks to its exceptional elasticity and suppleness, it is also ideal for sweeping and smoothing gold leaf, silver leaf or metal leaf.
