WINSOR & NEWTON™ Artisan Gloss Varnish is an exciting addition to the Artisan™ range. It provides a shine and protection for paintings painted with Artisan™ water mixable oil paints.

This varnish should be used only as a final varnish. It is removable with Artisan™ Varnish Remover for the purpose of re-varnishing.

This UV resistant gloss varnish provides a glossy finish that protects and maintains oil paintings for longer. It seals the microscopic pores on the oil paint film and provides resistance to dirt and grease.

WINSOR & NEWTON™ Artisan Gloss Varnish properties at a glance:

  • solvent free
  • work must be completely dry before use (6-12 months).
  • shake bottle well before use
  • available in sturdy and lightweight 75 ml and 250 ml PET bottles

TIP! — water mixable oil varnishes are also suitable for final treatment of conventional oil paintings.
