The name Charbonnel is synonymous with high-quality etching inks. With these CHARBONNEL ETCHING Inks Charbonnel offers a balanced range of artists' intaglio printing inks.

All colours have a high pigment content. Even after dilution with colourless varnish, they still have excellent opacity. By using stand oil as a binder, the colours hardly yellow and are very resistant to ageing. In addition, Intaglio etching inks do not contain any additives such as siccatives and waxes, which means that strong colours of optimal quality are created.

CHARBONNEL ETCHING Inks – the product properties at a glance:

  • highly pigmented
  • solvent free
  • low viscosity
  • excellent lightfastness
  • take approx 15 days to fully dry
  • available in numerous shades
  • available in various container sizes in tubes or tins

N.B. The colours in the tubes and tins are of the same texture, but the tin colours are slightly thicker. To make it easier to work with them they can be made more supple with a little linseed oil.

CHARBONNEL ETCHING Inks can be stored for several years. If the parchment paper used to cover the paint in a tin is damaged, it must be replaced to prevent the upper layer of paint from drying out.

Price per ink.
