Tri-Art™ F.Q. Gel Medium is essentially HIGH VISCOSITY acrylic paint without pigment. It is based on a 100% pure acrylic polymer emulsion. It appears white when wet, but dries clear. ➽ F.Q. stands for Finest Quality — professional level!

This Tri-Art™ F.Q. Gel Medium has a high viscosity and a buttery consistency. It increases the volume of your paint without reducing its colour intensity. It makes paint with a lower viscosity stiffer and — depending on the amount you add to your paint — retains every detail, from high peaks to fingerprints. And it makes the paint film more robust and flexible, even when working in very thick layers.

TIP! You can also use this medium as an adhesive for collages and mixed media.

Product specifications of Tri-Art™ F.Q. Gel Medium at a glance:

  • dries colourless
  • based on a 100% pure acrylic polymer emulsion
  • high viscosity
  • buttery consistency
  • increases the volume of the paint
  • slightly increases the transparency
  • slightly slows down the drying of the paint
  • makes the paint film more elastic and robust
  • excellent lightfastness
  • does not yellow

This F.Q. Gel Medium is available in three variants, each in 2 different pot sizes:

  • gloss = glossy — makes colours brighter and slightly increases gloss, perfect for glaze layers
  • semi-gloss = satin gloss — has the least influence on colours and gloss level
  • matt = matt — makes the colours more matt and gives a rougher, toothy finish

➽ Tri-Art™ ★★★★★ quality — proudly Canadian!

It started as a sideline of Art Noise, an art shop and gallery in Kingston, Ontario (Canada). Acrylic paint was made by hand on a small scale at the back of the shop — and the professionals liked it!
