This Tri-Art™ F.Q. Low Viscosity Polymer Medium is a 100% pure acrylic polymer emulsion that can be mixed in any ratio with acrylic paint — for example, F.Q. HIGH VISCOSITY acrylic paint or F.Q. LIQUID acrylic paint — or acrylic ink.

When wet, the Tri-Art™ F.Q. Low Viscosity Polymer Medium looks milky, but it dries clear and glossy. It has a watery consistency, making it the acrylic medium with the lowest viscosity. It thins the paint, reduces viscosity and improves flow. It is the ideal medium for applying thin, even layers of colour — perfect for glazes and subtle colour veils! The high adhesive strength of this medium also makes it suitable as an adhesive for collages, découpage and mixed media. Added to watercolour, gouache and casein, it makes these types of paint more or less water-resistant and increases their flexibility.

➽ F.Q. stands for Finest Quality — professional level!

TIP! Because it is self-levelling, you can also use this medium as a self-levelling clear varnish on most non-oily surfaces. You can apply it with a brush, paintbrush or paint sprayer, and you can pour it.
